I was sitting here in my Daytona Beach home when suddenly I got the most intense craving for a large Hot from Dick Howell's Barbecue. I think their hot slaw is the best in the Shoals. I come back a couple of times a year to visit so I wanted to know if anyone else likes a particular slaw. Wasn't thier a place down behind the Times Daily that made awesome hot dogs with hot slaw?

Well if I was where you were I would be having a craving for some of Park's great seafood stew and fried seafood or maybe Sweetwater's Lunch items.  Oh well maybe sometime this year I'll make it down,  If you have a beach house on the ocean save a room for me As for the place behind Times Daily you have me stumped but that might be Bunyons you are talking about and yes I might have spelled it wrong. Oh well I'm not a slaw person but do love great seafood and Daytona Beach.

But if you're not a hansome young black man, count on getting treated like crap when you go there! No way! You must have worn your rebel flag jacket in if you think you were mistreated for your race. It has been a while since I've been to the one in Florence, though. If it's even still open. The black ladies in the old KFC bldg across from George's are as sweet as the day is long. Course it's been about three years since I've been there, too. Gee, I need to go home just to eat out more often. Just disregard this post, maybe you were mistreated.
