Hi everyone, friends and are where chatting about the idea of having a casual lunch where we had raw/uncooked foods. Thought it would be fun. I thought of sashimi /sushi (with the cooked rice), nuts, fruits, come vegs. Would anyone have any other ideas/recipes to share for this lunch? Here is a list supplied by a raw-food friend: These three raw cook books are excellent even though they are vegan.   * Dining in the Raw, Cooking with the Buff , by Rita Romano ISBN 0-9634742-0-0, $29.95 Rita is a former head chef at Hippocrates Institute in Florida. Large book with over 700 recipes and lots of supplementary information. Sample recipe _title_s: sprouted pea soup, cream of broccoli soup (raw, * Sproutman's Kitchen Garden Cookbook, by Steve Meyerowitz ISBN 1-878736-84-1, $14.95 Large (320 pages), information packed book with 250 recipes, many of which are raw. Includes sections on: sprout breads, nut milk/yogurt and seed cheeses, dehydrated foods, raw juices, salt alternatives, and other topics.
