No problem. I'll let you know when it arrives... I hope it's a boy. Here's hoping it's not twins. 5mm?!?!? Let me start at the beginning: Thursday I start to pass a 5mm kidney stone. Rusty, excellent report! I too have had kidney stones (four of them all together). The first one was far and away the worst. I was only semi-concious by the time they loaded me into the ambulance. I had no idea what was wrong, but I'd endured several hours of cold sweats followed by hot flashes. I was puking one minute, only to experience diahrea the next. And the worst part was that the medical personnel suspected appendicitus, so they wouldn't give me anything for the pain until they determined whether they'd have to operate or not. In the meantime, I screamed like a sissy and requested a revolver. Both pleas were ignored. Then, in a satirical twist, they concluded that I had a kidney stone just as I passed it naturally. Bastards! They tried that same testing shit the next time too but I sat 'em straight right away and they got the morphine drip going pretty quickly. Morphine rocks, btw. It's been about six years since my last stone, but if I even *think* one may be coming on I start guzzling water like there's no tomorrow! (My personal, un-educated suspicion, is that the first stone carves a channel through your kidney
